WHY GROW MICROGREENS?

Microgreens are becoming so popular not only for their nutrition and health benefits. They also add exciting new flavours and textures to make your dishes look amazing: garnishes, salads, sandwiches, juices or smoothies.

Growing microgreens is possibly the quickest and easiest way to turn your gardening skills into profit because it requires little space (indoors or outdoors) and they are harvestable in a short time – most varieties within 10 to 20 days.

Microgreens can be sold directly to individuals or to local grocers, cafes and restaurants.

We wish you lots of fun and profit for your microgreen adventure!

AUSTRALIAN MADE

FULLY STACKABLE

Our plastic trays have been designed to stack fully: base against base with no gap between them. When stacked each tray adds 7mm to the total height.

The main benefit of this is that you can put a Drip Tray (WITHOUT drainage holes) with water under your Microgreen Tray (WITH drainage holes) and know it won’t drip when watered.

Storage and shipping costs are kept low as couriers take volume into account.

SAFE

Our plastic trays are made of food grade BPA free plastic, making them completely safe for growing ready-to-eat food, like microgreens and fodder.

The trays are also UV resistant, so they won’t become brittle after being in the sun. However we recommend you keep them in the shade to extend their usable life as much as possible.

STRONG

Our plastic trays are injection molded. This makes them a lot stronger than most of the microgreen trays, which are usually vacuum-formed, available in the market.

Additionally, we have added a reinforcing grid in the bottom of our trays that makes them even stronger and prevents them from folding or twisting when they are full of soil, seedlings and/or water. No accidents will occur because of a poor-quality tray!

We have tested our trays and they can support up to 21kg when holding them with both hands. To get the best results you need to look after them. But you can be sure these are good quality trays you can potentially use for many years.

TESTIMONIAL

I have a small market garden producing a high value salad mix. Management of the field crops, perennials, microgreens and herbs is intensive, so I streamline procedures and invest in the best equipment possible. Curly’s Ag plastic trays are some of our most handled tools – the fill/seed/stack/grow/harvest/wash/stack routine is rough, but I haven’t broken one yet. They feel good to use, are stiff, lightweight, drain well, and are the right depth for microgreens. The best trays I have used by a mile. I urge you not to waste your time and money trying anything else. Curly’s Ag service is best by a mile too!
